Mango Wood Tree of Life Puzzle Box

This exquisite mango wood puzzle box is a beautiful accent piece doubles as an entertaining puzzle to have on a coffee table.  The storage box also works nicely to hold small jewelry or other keepsakes.  The Tree of Life is highlighted with a white wash burnt finish. Crafted in Saharanpur in the region of Uttar Pradesh, India that is well-known for the ancient woodcarving techniques.   Temples in this region bear witness to the early talent of artisans in that region.  Today, the craft is still practiced using hand tools that are much the same.
