FAQ

FAQ

  • I’m interested in a sold out item?

    • Due to the handmade nature of our items, we are only able to have a limited stock. These items are not made on a manufacturing line. The artisans make as much as possible without sacrificing quality or their well-being.

    • If you see something that is sold out, you can enter your email address to be notified when we get more.

    • If you don’t see the particular item on our website, contact us and we can check to see if we will be getting more or if we can source something similar.

  • Can I return my purchase?

    • Thank you for helping empower remote artisans by giving them global reach. If you are not 100% satisfied with your order or if there was a mistake, please contact us directly at returns@generousintentions.com and we will work promptly to resolve the issue.

  • How does Generous Intentions benefit artisans?

    • We are a social business and exclusively source fair-trade products from verified fair-trade organizations.

    • We pay artisans fair prices for the products they make. A fair price is what is considered by the artisan enough to provide sufficient quality of living as typical market prices are often so low they don’t provide a sustainable living income.

  • I have seen similar products elsewhere at a much lower cost, why should I buy from Generous Intentions?

    • It is true, you might find similar goods at a much lower price, but do you know where these items came from? Are they hand made and do they provide a sustainable living wage to the artisan who made it?

    • Generous Intentions is in the business of making a social impact but also to provide you the opportunity to participate in ethical and conscious shopping. Not only do we support remote artisans, but we are committed to donating 20% of proceeds to animal welfare organizations. Together we can make this a kinder world for all.

  • Where do you source your products from?

    • We source our products directly from artisans, partner organizations, and non-profits whose mission is ethical sourcing and making a positive impact in the communities they serve.
